History

Dogs of the Night

He was once a monk in a monastery. He was mysteriously murdered, and Hellboy, having traveled back in time, found his body and severed head. Hellboy took his head and showed it in front of the door to a forbidden room in the monastery, thus fooling the guard who, upon seeing the head through the crack of the door, assumed it was the real Sanchez and opened the door for Hellboy.
