The Knights Templar were a Catholic military order that was prominent during the Crusades.

History

In 1299, the Templars burned Romulus Diovanni at the stake in Piazza St. Marcos.

In 1307, the order was given by Pope Clement V that outlawed the Knights Templar and all members should be subsequently arrested. This order was notably carried out by the Order of the Knights of Saint Hagan.
