Jesus Christ (from Hebrew: Yeshu Ha-Notsri), was a preacher in Israel, as well as the son of God.

History

Jesus preached to old Israelites about God and his love, though he was eventually captured and crucified by the Roman Empire. Despite this he rose from the grave and into Heaven, and the religion of Christianity rose from his disciples. Notable Christians were Trevor Bruttenholm, Johann Kraus, Liz Sherman and Iosif Nichayko.

While he hasn't returned to Earth since his crucifixion, his name has and symbol, the cross, has been a powerful weapon to be used against evil creatures, such as demons and vampires.

• While Jesus does not appear as a character on Hellboy, he is often seen depicted on church, and his name is used by exorcists like Ashley Strode.
