Bael, also known as Baal, was one of the high ranking demons within the Order of the Fly.

Hellboy in Hell

Bael was quickly seen in a council of the Order of the Fly at Pandemonium, alongside other high-ranking demons, such as Shax and Agares. He was likely killed alongside several all the other high-ranking demons after the death of Satan and uprising of the slave-demons.

• Bael was one of the few major demons who made the cut in the infernal council scenes. Demons like Haborym, Mulciber, Adramelech, Mammon, Agares, Zagan, Purson, Asmoday, Orobas, Moloch, Belphegor and Belial were all planed, but did not make the Final Cut.
